Effects of Isa on the Driving Speed of Young Volunteers: a Controlled Study of the Impact Information and Incentives on Speed
نویسندگان
چکیده
The present study is a part of the ISA PAYD project being conducted in the County of North Jutland, Denmark. The first part of the study compared background data and attitudes between young ISA-volunteers and non-volunteers. Volunteers and nonvolunteers differed only with respect to their judgement of ISA effects. The second part of the study compared effects of ISA on speeding for ISA-volunteers exposed to different combinations of informative ISA and incentives e.g. speed dependent insurance discounts. Comparisons of amount speeding between treatment groups showed that ISA in combination with incentives and ISA alone reduced speeding, incentive without ISA had some effect on speeding whereas the control group, which neither had ISA or incentives continued to speed throughout an observation period of 18 weeks.

Controlled study of ISA effects: comparing speed attitudes between young volunteers and external controls, and the effect of different ISA treatments on the speeding of volunteers
This study is a part of an ongoing ISA project in Denmark. Its aim was to clarify two human factors issues, (1) the difference in attitude between ISA-volunteers and non-volunteers, and (2) the relative impact on speeding of two factors, ISA-information and driver motivation. The first part of the study compared survey data from ISA-volunteers with those of non-volunteers. The two groups differ...

متن کاملModeling and Identification Based On CAN Network Information in Iranian Cars
Modeling and identification of the system of Iranian cars is one of the most basic needs of automotive and consumer groups and has a broad role for safe driving. It has happened with speed increasing or changing of shift gear, effects on water temperature or the car's torque has been observed, but how much and how intensely and with what algorithm this effect is identifiable, can be modeled...

This study assessed the relative effects of two intelligent speed adaptation (ISA) systems (informative and actively supporting) on simulated driving performance and acceptability in a sample of inexperienced and experienced drivers. Participants drove a series of simulated drives under three conditions: no ISA (control), ISA informative and ISAactively supporting. The informative systemsignifi...
